OPEN STUDENT COMPETITION OF DESIGN EXCELLENCE The Department
of Design and Computation Arts, Concordia University, and Surface3
Design principals Jason Shatilla (BFA Design 2003) and Carla El Samra
(BFA Design 2001) announce the Surface3 Design Award for graduating
students in the Design Program of the Department of Design and
Computation Arts, Concordia University. The appointed jury will identify
overall excellence, with a specific focus on concerns of sustainability
within the submitted works. Students selected as finalists will exhibit
their competition panels at the Department's Year-End Show, and the
winner will be announced at the show's vernissage. Three finalists will
be selected, and from these, there will be one grand prize of $500. To
