The Department of Design and Computation Arts provides advanced graduate study opportunities for professionals, scholars and practitioners from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds. The department contributes to Concordia University's unique interdisciplinary learning environment, facilitating innovative research/creation in a diverse range of media practices and traditions.

Our graduate program provides graduate students with the skills and experience to fulfill the multiple roles of contemporary design practice and scholarship.

Currently, the department offers a one-year program of study:

The Department accepts approximately 12 students annually into the graduate certificate program. Graduate students work closely with full-time faculty members who are acclaimed artists and scholars, and benefit from an extensive network of facilities and services. Each year our graduates join a thriving group of alumni who continue to distinguish themselves as leading designers, artists, entrepreneurs, scholars and educators.
